Rocket Extended Practice
Rocket Yoga is a dynamic and playful sequence with plenty of space for creativity and play.
During this extended practice you will learn about the history of Rocket and how it developed as a style, understanding the ethos of the practice before being guided through the flow. Within this, there'll be plenty of time to break down more challenging postures and transitions and give yourself as many attempts as your heart desires.
The sequence is filled with opportunities to experiment with arm balances, inversions, backbends and funky transitions, with the freedom to take things as far as you feel inspired to, finishing with an indulgent and welcome savasana.
This is perfect for people who enjoy a stronger flow and who like to be challenged in novel ways, or equally for someone who simply wants to try something a little different. Either way, you'll leave feeling energised and ready for more!

Backbends
Cultivating a regular backbending practice is one of the healthiest things you can do for your spine, and the kindest for your heart. In today's world we spend so much time rounded forwards over our phones and computers that we need to open the front body more than ever. This workshop will teach you the proper technique to safely backbend, with drills and progressions you can take home to embed into your personal practice. We will explore different types of backbends and appropriate counter postures, how to to transition between them, and learn how to properly 'flip the grip', all the while opening up our hearts to love and compassion, both to ourselves and those around us.
